About Shared Reins Foundation

Shared Reins Foundation is developing a place where veterans can build their next chapter through equine support, skilled trade training, and community.

Our vision brings these opportunities together at the planned Shared Reins Ranch, connecting renewed purpose with practical preparation for civilian careers. Some veterans may begin with equine support before entering training, while others may move directly into learning a trade.

The ranch and its programs are in development. Enrollment is not yet open.

Mark Davis

Founder & Chief Steward

Mark Davis is an entrepreneur, electrical industry leader, philanthropist, and Thoroughbred owner. For more than two decades, he has served as President and Owner of Precision Electric Group, helping grow the company from a regional electrical contractor into a multistate organization. His career has shaped his belief in the value of skilled work and its ability to create lasting opportunity.

The inspiration for Shared Reins is deeply personal. Through his nephew, a U.S. Air Force Pararescueman, Mark developed friendships with fellow service members and welcomed them into his home between deployments. When several later died by suicide after leaving military service, their loss strengthened his determination to help veterans find connection and purpose in civilian life.

As Founder and Chief Steward, Mark brings together his experience in the electrical trades and his passion for Thoroughbred horses. He is investing his resources, industry relationships, and business experience into developing Shared Reins Ranch as a place where veterans can build community, engage with horses, learn practical skills, and prepare for meaningful careers.
